Golf Outing -Syracuse
Presented by: Sheats & Bailey, PLLC. The Builders Exchange 2026 Golf Tournament will be held in June 1st at Drumlins Golf & Country Club. Event level sponsors will be guaranteed the course they choose. Utica Golf Outing The Utica golf tournament will be held August 24th. Charity Clay Shooting Competition
Presented by: Greystone Consulting Chasin Group The Syracuse Builders Exchange annual clay sport shooting is on September 18th. All proceeds will benefit the Syracuse Builders Exchange Scholarship Fund. The Builders Exchange Scholarship fund awarded $20,000 in scholarships this past year to dependents of employees of member firms. Check back for more details. |
GC & DIVERSE TRADE PARTNER NETWORKING
Presented by: C&S Companies April 6, 2026 SBE has combined our traditional Meet the Generals event with the MBE/WBE/SDB/SDVOSB Showcase into one large, high-impact experience: The GC & Diverse Trade Partner Networking Event. With more than 50 presenters, this event is expected to fill quickly. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with general contractors and diverse trade partners in a dynamic networking environment. Limited vendor tables are available for an additional fee. An exciting guest speaker will be announced soon, along with breakout learning opportunities designed to add even more value. The cost to attend is $25 per person, with a limit of two attendees per company. BIE of NYS (Building Industry Employers of New York State) has negotiated a group retirement plan for regional construction industry Associations and their member employers. Member firms may opt into this new Multiple Employer Pension Plan (MEP), which offers significant savings. The Clambake
Presented by: OneGroup The Builders Exchange is pleased to announce the annual clambake will be held September 9th at The Spinning Wheel in North Syracuse, NY. This event will be sold-out as maximum capacity will be 1,500 guests. Look for more information on the clambake beginning in July. 
Cabin Fever

This annual event celebrated the end of winter, the beginning of the spring construction season and brought together the construction community. The Syracuse Builders Exchange is pleased to continue hosting this traditional event for all members throughout the Builders Exchange’s 18 county geography. Syracuse Construction Career Days October 2026
The Syracuse Builders Exchange and a local committee of construction industry leaders and educators team up each fall for the Syracuse Construction Career Day event. Construction Career Day is designed to introduce local high school students to the vast career opportunities and unlimited potential for advancement within the Central New York construction industry. The event is primarily about Youth, Industry & Partnership, and draws more than 500 students from area high schools each year. The event provides students with hands-on experiences operating construction-related heavy equipment and machinery, along with skilled trades’ exhibits and demonstrations. In addition, there are vendor booths available for construction industry employers, union and trade organizations which offer training and apprenticeship programs, colleges and universities, professional design firms, NYS Department of Transportation, equipment sales companies, and much more. |
Scholarship
The Syracuse Builders Exchange will be awarding scholarships in June 2026. Applications were mailed to all member employers in March 2026 and also be available at the SBE office or on www.syrabex.com. Scholarship recipients will be notified by early June. Eligibility - Applicants must be:
