Charity Clay Shooting Competition
Presented by: Greystone Consulting Chasin Group The Syracuse Builders Exchange will be hosting our annual clay sport shooting event in September 26, 2025 . All proceeds will benefit the Syracuse Builders Exchange Scholarship Fund. The Builders Exchange Scholarship fund awarded $20,000 in scholarships this past year to dependents of employees of member firms. Check back for more details. |
Meet The Generals
March 2025 Presented by: C&S Companies The evolution of technology has been widely accepted by construction employers, evident by the estimating software programs, electronic plan rooms, email, project management software and general electronic dissemination of project bidding information. Such technology has led to a more efficient and productive workforce, capable of multi-tasking and organizing a variety of activities, projects and other events via a computer, smart phone or tablet while at home, at the office or at the job site. In March of each year Syracuse Builders Exchange holds a networking event which brings our members back to a time where the personal interaction between project managers, general contractors and/or construction managers and subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers’ representatives interact on a personal level, communicating one-on-one, face to face and with a hand shake.

The Syracuse Builders Exchange provides members, project owners and the construction industry with a directory and buyers guide containing information and services helpful to professionals in construction industry-related businesses. The publication offers listings of construction industry employers, construction associations, architectural & engineering firms, and classified sections containing information on virtually every construction material component and service offered throughout Central and Upstate New York. The Clambake
Presented by: OneGroup The Builders Exchange is pleased to announce the annual clambake will be held September 1oth from 3 PM – 7 PM at The Spinning Wheel in North Syracuse, NY. Cabin Fever
April 16, 2025 For years, our new member employers in the Mohawk Valley region have enjoyed a very popular social and networking event they called “Cabin Fever”. This annual event celebrated the end of winter, the beginning of the spring construction season and brought together the construction community. The Syracuse Builders Exchange is pleased to continue hosting this traditional event for all members throughout the Builders Exchange’s 18 county geography. Syracuse Construction Career Days October 2025
The Syracuse Builders Exchange and a local committee of construction industry leaders and educators team up each fall for the Syracuse Construction Career Day event. Construction Career Day is designed to introduce local high school students to the vast career opportunities and unlimited potential for advancement within the Central New York construction industry. The event is primarily about Youth, Industry & Partnership, and draws more than 500 students from area high schools each year. The event provides students with hands-on experiences operating construction-related heavy equipment and machinery, along with skilled trades’ exhibits and demonstrations. In addition, there are vendor booths available for construction industry employers, union and trade organizations which offer training and apprenticeship programs, colleges and universities, professional design firms, NYS Department of Transportation, equipment sales companies, and much more. |
Scholarship
The Syracuse Builders Exchange will be awarding scholarships in June 2025. Applications were mailed to all member employers in March 2025 and also be available at the SBE office or on www.syrabex.com. Scholarship recipients will be notified by early June. Night at the Crunch
The Syracuse Crunch and SBE will team annually each February to offer members the opportunity to purchase tickets to a hockey game at discounted prices not available to the general public.
